Intensive English Programs
San
Diego, CA
The school is located in an ultra-modern
facility in the cultural and governmental center of downtown.
THE LOCAL AREA
San Diego is on the Pacific Ocean, two
hours by car from Los Angeles, and 45 minutes north of Mexico. It is one of the most
popular places for Americans to visit for three reasons:
- It has a perfect Mediterranean climate. The average
high temperature in summer is 25 C, and the average low is 18 C. Winters are equally
comfortable, with an average high of 19C, and an average low of 10 C.
- It is a big city (the seventh largest in the United
States), and at the same time, it is safe and comfortable.
- It is surrounded by spectacular natural beauty-from
endless beaches to deep canyons, from high mountains to wide deserts.
San Diego is a thriving center for high
technology, biotechnology, and telecommunications. It has the highest percentage of
college graduates of all United States cities with populations over one million. San Diego
is also a crossroads for international business, especially with Mexico and Pacific Rim
countries.
