Cleveland
The school is located on the campus of Case Western Reserve University
(CWRU), one of America's premier scientific and technical institutions. Campus
recreational facilities include a gym, health club and pool. Advanced students (Levels
107-109) who have been academically accepted by CWRU may enroll in one University class
concurrently with their Intensive English program.
THE
LOCAL AREA
Cleveland combines the urban sophistication of a modern industrial city with the
traditions and values of America's Heartland. One hundred forty kilometers of scenic Lake
Erie shoreline form the north coast of this flourishing cultural and commercial center.
ACTIVITIES
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Great Lakes Science Center with OMNIMAX?Theater,
Cedar Point amusement park (features over 12 thrilling roller coasters, 56 rides, games, musical shows, campgrounds and a beach), Amish Community:
(enjoy an auction and flea market and eat a traditional Amish meal), Cleveland Museum of
Art, known as one of the top art museums in the world, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and
Rainforest features over 3,300 animals in their natural landscape. It is a dynamic
arena with some of the most exciting exhibits, including Wolf Wilderness and The
Rainforest. The Flats: Visitors will find restaurants, outdoor concert facilities, comedy
clubs, water taxis, jazz and blues clubs, and, of course, lots of dance clubs!
Trips possible to Toronto, Detroit and New York City.
