English Language Programs in North Carolina

Charlotte

The school is located on the campus of Queens College. College facilities include a gym, indoor pool, tennis courts, weight room, dance studio, and several playing fields.

Level 109 graduates may participate in an Internship Experience program with local businesses.

THE LOCAL AREA

Booming with economic and commercial activity, Charlotte has all the advantages of one of the nation's most rapidly growing metropolises. Yet the people are warm and friendly, and many areas retain their small town flavor and Southern charm.

ACTIVITIES

Go boating, fishing or water skiing at nearby Lake Norman or Wylie, or take a ride on an authentic Southern paddlewheel riverboat. The city offers a wide variety of cultural activities from pop music concerts, opera and symphony orchestra to museums, including Discovery Place, one of the top interactive science and technology activity centers in the US.  Attend professional sporting events like the Charlotte Hornets or Carolina Panthers games or visit Paramount's Carowinds theme and water park.
