LOCAL AREA

world-famous heart of U.S. business, Wall Street, is close by. Major transportation around
the city is minutes away – three subway lines, the Holland Tunnel and a ferry line
provide easy access.
ACTIVITIES
Broadway and the Theater District: Visit Times Square, the heart of the Theater
District, and choose from dozens of theaters offering plays and musicals such as Cats,
Miss Saigon, and Phantom of the Opera.
Wall Street and the Financial District: The New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street is the
core of the Financial District along with the nearby World Trade Center. See New York from
the top of the World.
The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island: New York's most famous landmark, the Statue of
Liberty, is a short boat ride away from Manhattan's Battery Park. Stop too at Ellis Island
and get a historical perspective of this city of immigrants.
